Default AXES to ACES - Part II

A couple of days ago, Tuesday, I had the pleasurable opportunity, to do another Show and tell with another Far North native(Wisconsin) friend. AJ "pre-punctually" arrived @my driveway at 05:50(said he couldn't sleep) with some goodies and such that he off-loaded as I was finishing-up last minute check-list thingies to help make our 45 minute Westerely-trek only that long! We stopped and got our FREE WAWA Tuesday coffee and carried on. Now, worth mentioning at this point...I had already filled him in with last week's Bitter-cold encounter Slab and I endured, and advised with warm layering. Now, AJ has Green Bay Packer support still very much alive even after the many years(50?) having relocated to Central Florida(Ocala). The manly-size of 6'4 (270+-) could easily make him a PACKER'S locker-room resident. While transferring his stuff @ramp from vehicle to boat, this is what caught my eye =Name: Resized_20211130_174618.jpg

Size: 59.4 KB OMG!! I thought they were POTHOLDERS!! No FROZEN fingies for this FURTHER North resident! Informed him of Uhum, the Slab "revelation" from last week. Well the tour-boat got under way and all his Sheep-wool Mitts/Hoody etc. were still stowed because Mother Nature decided to be more nice this week...from start to our glorious finish! What a day I had to see EVERYTHING fit perfectly into place for him. The GULF was our Oyster as everywhere we went, we had action(bent rods). Did a little skill-testing, cast monitoring in the mangrovesName: Resized_20211130_083158.jpg

Size: 98.6 KB Under the trees AJ not UP IN the trees! His 1st-time single-casting/endurance could/would ONLY get better! No Snook anyone today, REDFISH bite was stingy, I did manage a nice, scrappy 19" thick-shouldered specimenName: Resized_20211130_090512.jpg

Size: 119.0 KB. Trout were our glory today...with 9 of 10(limit) in the box, I informed him of one more(hopefully Trophy-sized >19") would be HIS/mine reward. Still in need of checking/emptying our earlier deployed crab-pots(5) and "other secrets" we made our way back trying spots to fulfill the last fish and maybe our final REDFISH, last day legal SNOOK or ??? AJ gets the tick on our LAST SPOT and it was "buckle up your HELMET MR. PACKER fan!! I thought it was a Snook with the fight but it turned out to be an Eye-opener TROUT of 22"!! Size: 27.4 KB Irony prevailing, I thought who do I know on C.com that has a Tennessee resident(non-noative) status that I have shown a similar tour(- blue crab) Didn't take but a second = Skeetbum Tim! Alright folks, check out the 3 state Shape-profile...! Further my homestate of Maryland could fit too(OK squint those eyes a little more!)

Thanks for sharing your adventure with AJ. Great pics and of course Crabs and Coors Light. AJ is a trout "Killa" WTG on the 22" Monster. Those monster mitts would make great Christmas stockings. Tight Lines.
