    Default Spider riggers

Charlie McCullough with Costal Angler is looking for anyone that might be interested in helping him with a video next Tuesday the 19th on lake Monroe. He wants to shoot a drone video of someone spider rig fishing. If anyone can help him, I can put him in touch with you.
    Thanks,
    Mike

I don't know if what I do is considered spider rigging. or more long lining. But it is different than what most people do.

Great to hear from you Mike. I also longline/shortline uniquely and I'm also on the wrong lake. Hopefully there's someone that can help. It'd be a cool opportunity. Hope to see you at the Nov 6th event Mike. If you show, I'll have a little sumtin for you in the way of a door prize! Who knows, might be a Billbob. Might not.

I'm not sure if a 22' offshore center console with homemade Lowes bucket rod holders is what he's looking to film lol

Now I have a question ! what constitutes spider rigging ?? Is it using different size rods off the FROUNT of the boat pushing your jigs ? or is it using different size rods off the BACK of your boat pulling your jigs ?? Or is it the act of using different size rods to get a wider spread on the lines ??? I have seen all three ways described as spider rigging. What say you ?

Thanks for the response, but he's looking for someone fishing with 6 to 8 poles off the bow of the boat pushing tight lines.
