    Hey y'all,
Anyone near the Green Cove Springs / Palatka area?
I am coming down for a few days to visit family and a funeral for our Cousin.
Don't think I'll get to fish this trip but would like to meet some of my Florida heros.
My dream is to move from NC to Florida sooner than later and fish my life away...lol
If anyone wants to maybe meet for breakfast or lunch let me know. I'll be there late tomorrow and not leaving until Saturday or Sunday.
    Thanks y'all

I am over an hour away, and going fishing today. Do way too many funerals now anyways.

This area is pretty good as there is always something good available. It can get just as hot in Florida as it does in NC you know. Palatka is a pretty good location as you can fish fresh and salt rather easily. Far enough inland that the hurricanes don’t blow you away. Crabs, shrimp, all manner of associated edibles, too. Just be careful about where you swim. Biggest gator I have ever seen was cruising in the St Johns river just off shore from some houses. Manatees come in the river as well and we all know how dangerous they can be.LOL

Maybe next trip down you can go fishing, or house hunting. That is always fun.
Maybe they will bite this one……

I'm in st.augustine, I only speck fish in the "winter". The deep blue calls me the rest of the year Location. Overall a great area and striking distance to any kind of fishing
