    Default Just Three

Were kept today. The day started early to beat the wind and was supposed to finish early. Fished til about noon and while I caught enough to keep me interested, these were the only keepers. The biggest was 13 1/2”. The bluegill wasn’t overly big but when I hooked him and he was splashing around on the way in I saw a belly that was about as red as a red breasted sunfish from the pectoral fins forward. By the time I quickly got out the phone and took a pic the Orange had faded to what you see in the pic. Never seen that before though I have heard of that in Caught saltwater fish. A good morning in some areas I haven’t visited in many years, and I’ll be going back one day soon. Just a couple of pics of the fish I gave to a couple of ladies fishing the wall with no success. Hope to see you out soon, til then...... Skeet Name: 64E38260-7EC9-4770-BC81-DDE58042C113.jpg

    Default Second effort

Up early this morning and my queen had fallen back to sleep, so I ran back out for a few hours. Wound up staying just over two hours and the heat and boat traffic told me it was time to go. Caught a bunch of crappie, some big and some small, all released. I did get one fish that I thought was a LMB from the way he fought but it was a bluegill. A good one at 9 1/2” and bigger body structure than the good one I caught yesterday, very impressive. It was all I could muster to keep him out of where he came from. Great way to start the day and home just after 9. Hope y’all enjoy your Sunday, mines been pretty good so far.
