Griffin was slow

FINALLY made it down to my buddies place in villages and we headed for griffin which is close by. Picked up minnows at tackle place but he didn't sell licenses. Went to Walmart where I usually get out of state license but after 30 minutes of sw for Florida f and W site kicking her out gave up. FINALLY got on water and byford put his spider poles out and we moved along. Nada. Called SLAB and he was up lake and had 3. BYW while talking to him caught one nice Slab. Turned out only one but still good to get out on his new ride which is different. First time out and now I have my license we can quit holding back

Can't believe y'all only got the one. I was only out there for one short pass and got three. I had to quit though, had catch up stuff still to do from me recent trip to MS, and I had not bought my ice for my back (still got some aches from recent back spasms), and I had not taken my heartburn meds either. Trifecta of excuses to get off the water i guess. On top the fact that it started to get pretty windy where I was fishing. Here's one of mine I caught.

That Mississippi fish was caught just last week gewber. The lack of hair cut proves it. The only other time I've had that long of hair was some time in the 70's!!!!

I predict a different outcome tomorrow w/more slime to break-in the new ride....Get after em' hdhntr

Slab, if I see anymore pics of vertical bar slabs coming out of Griffin, I'll be there in a heartbeat...LOL....really nice Hog from MS & the other ain't to shabby likewise.

You know that, but some folks don't know that. White crappie need cooler waters.
