If I remember correctly it was 64 degrees. So the answer is prolly yes to the "staging".

68 degree water temp today. And the were biting like mad.



All nice fish. No smalls. Released a ton. Kept only eight for the pan. Great morning till the rains came in. Longlining as usual.

In-laws arrived and the fish started biting. How awesome is that. Prolly caught over a dozen on a very short morning. Longlining at a slightly faster than normal speed for me, 1.2. -1.3 mph.
