Marjorie Rawlings Ramp @ Orange Lake
I stopped by the Majorie Rawlings ramp on CR325 at Orange Lake around 5pm today. I wanted to let folks know that the dock between the two ramps is not accessible. The posts supports have rotted away. The dock has been cordoned off. The brush along the banks has been cleared and mowed so boats can be docked on the banks of the canal leading to the lake.
Given the condition of the dock, I surmise it will be replaced and not repaired. Given the state bureaucracy, the required permitting process, etc. I speculate it'll be 1-2 years before the dock will be back. I hope I'm wrong.

That's a very busy boat ramp. Lots of bass tournaments out of there. Maybe some of those big money bass guys can get someone motivated to fix it in a timely manner.
