On a positive note, if caught, Florida is very good at accepting virtual(phone) testamony while being sworn in by your local sherriff office.
Sorry for your loss .....
They don't get mine cause I never give em a chance,
have "always" been "better safe than sorry".
perhaps from now on you'll practice these values too .....
Learn hard, but ...learn well ........
"Teach a man to fish = he can feed himself "
"Teach the world to fish = you won't have any fish left to eat "

You was way over due!!!!!! If you had years of no theft chalk it up to the dirty south, Here in my hood they'll steal the air out of your tires and come back later for your vehicle!!! Merry Christmas at leat you didn't catch them in the act and get into real trouble.

I hate to here that, but now days its become more prevalent. My wife and I have fished St.Johns in the Aster area for 5 straight years, our first year we stayed at Palamores and the same thing happened, soon after we got there we noticed a policeman talking to people there, and found out the night before someone stole poles and tackle off of docked boats. Since then we now stay south of there and really enjoy our new fish camp.

So sad, so sorry for you, I hate crooks!!!
Sad to hear about the thefts, BUT, had a major problem at Santee Cooper Lakes every year when I lived there with thieves going out at night and pulling stainless steel props from boat owners on the lake that left their outboards tilted up at their docks. One night, 50 props were taken. So, make it a little harder for the thieves and keep your prop under water when stored at a dock.
