    Default Lake Crescent

    Had three nice days fishing Lake Crescent. Caught some really nice fish. Third day ending fishing the the Florida Crappie Club Classic. Wife and I managed to pull out a second place and 1st place for Big Fish.

    Congrats to both...nice results Marv against some high caliber, serious slabsters. Were you pre-fish days banner as well? How constant did color preference stay during 3 days of the hunt?

    Great job and Nice slabs!! I was on the Dunns Creek end of Crescent Sunday and just found dinks.. What color worked best for you?

    The colors stayed very constant. The Bobby Garland 2" baby shad did the trick.

    And yes, the pre fish paid off, we actually caught and released a 2# 10oz. on Friday. Our Big fish winner was 2# 6oz.

    Nice catch. I fished Crescent last year and was rather disappointed. I will be back in February. Seems to me there was a lot of people struggling on Crescent.Was that a off year. Maybe Iím just that bad. I did OK in the Narrows. Again nice catch and great pics

    I think it was an off year too. Much better this year. Caught a lot of quality fish.
