    Default Return to Mystery Lake

Well......... Thought we'd try it again, sure is a long bumpy ride down that
washed out dirt ............... well .............. might as well call it what it is = muddy road, all the way from where ya cut off the highway and cross the cattle guard. Cows milling around in the middle of
the road, won't move outta the way ..... Hogs runnin loose, seen a few bucks right early at the crack of dawn etc ... It is a beautiful place, Old Florida at it's finest .....

We finally got there, had to back the trucks way down in the water before the boats would float off, but, everything worked out good......
Jeff got stuck three times but I was able to pull him out, that little Xterra sure tried it's heart out .....

Was hoping to have a banner catch day but, was long in coming .... We did get a few = I got em
on ice on the back porch = will post pics tomorrow when I clean em

I agree. Pretty place and good company, doesn’t get much better. Patiently waiting to see the fish.

Two boat tag team jus' ain't right/fair. Hope you know that your boat limit would've been 25 NOT 50 like when Jeff was wicha!Return to Mystery LakeReturn to Mystery Lake

Back to ya Mr. Dan- was thinkin' maybe u could 1/2 fill a clean/dirty trash barrel with dirty laundry and detergent water, and by the time you reached Green swamp boat ramp= now, stay w/me...@ ramp lay out your clothes on ramp, tire width apart. 1st you back your boat to launch, then Jeff(he can bring a load too/own barrel as well, don't want you guys mixing up your tidy-whities, lol. Now, lake rinse is optional b4 ramp layout. Just takes longer to start fishin'. Lastly, the drawback to using your rodholders for drying is You'll have to single-pole fish 'til your clothes are dry! Any other advice, you know how to reach me. Just trying to help that new fishing itch you seem to have caught! This way you won't be stuck at the house doing laundry, jus' sayin'!

    OK ....... Here's fish pics = 32 total, I thought
we had 33 but turns out only 32 ....
