I see em zoomin around out there so I suppose they know their way around, ya sure
ain't gonna catch me Zoomin around, cept the perimeter ditches ....

Well its a bit safer zoomin around in Farm 13 than it is Stick marsh.
Except when you get down toward the far south end of farm 13 where there are more stumps.
But the Lock/dam down in the SE corner is a popular place.

I do enjoy when others do however, and spend much of my time watching videos on youtube of a whole variety of things.
Including of coarse Crappie fishing videos.
There is a massive amount of water down this way, much of it not shown on maps, except Google earth maps.
Some day take a ride down I 95 and exit at Malabar Rd in Palm Bay.
Go west on Malabar road till it turns to dirt, maybe 5 miles, then keep going another mile or so till you come to the nicest launch area youve ever seen, at a lake youve never heard of. But you wont be seeing any lake at the launch area, nor will you find one after leaving the launch area. But be paying close attention as you go, or you might be out of fuel before you get back. lol. This is the kind of stuff i enjoy doing, even more than catching fish. But there are plenty of them also, just not by trolling. You can also access that area from Stick Marsh, on Mondays and Thursdays you can drive thru the gate at the lock in the parking lot. And drive on a good sand road for a long way. Water to blow your mind, and several remote ramps at different places on side roads.
My nice 17’ Key West hasent moved in 2 years because of the new Jon boat that is better for doing all that. But your Carolina Skiff would be just fine also.
There are a couple of black guys in older boats who regularly fish the farm 13 side of Stick Marsh. If you happen to get down that way, pay attention to them.
Yobuck- Last night I had a dream/cure for your pic/posting challenges = PHANTOM photo studios, inc. Besides knowing the fine details of making smaller fish look monstrous, efficiency with detail, I've seen him single-handedly crack open a 12 oz. beverage can with either hand while holding a pole in his other one. You might want to think hard on this one. Junior Samples gave me his phone # = 222-333-4555

ps- Years ago, he actually did a custom magazine cover layout of me to send/impress to a perspective partner of mine. It didn't yield any fruit, don't know why it looked Very professionally produced.

Maybe it was the subject matter!!LOL-

Well i do think that old dogs can in fact be taught new tricks.
Provided they have the desire and even more importantly, the ambition to learn. lol

Some beautiful pics. We have 3 inches of snow today so it’s nice to see pictures of warmer weather.

And ..... it was a slow day = one here, then awhile later, one there, BUT .... The size of these fish are
amazing ! ! ! and, about every one we caught was a big one, only had three 10 inchers and a couple minner sized,
the rest were over 11-12 inches and several 14 inchers, but = they were all heavy weight fish = broad shoulders and fat ....
However ... we only managed 24 fish, but 24 azz kickin fish .........

Didn't get back to my house till 5:30pm and Jeff left his half with me to put in the slabfest bank for next slabfest whenever
we have another (we always have one at the end of the season etc) .....
What's sweet about it is that the season is just getting started, should be some great fishing for the next few months.

Too late for pics = will post some in the morning .....
