    Default 14 incher

Caught a 14 incher on griffin. This is a good fish for griffin. Been fishing it for about 8 years now and this is my third, I think!

Hard to get a good pic when the ruler is on side of boat but when all is right (left and right with closed mouth) using two hands it just barely touched 14. Yay

It’s the same fish. One pic makes it look 14.5 but it’s not. It’s all perspective. This is kinda why tournaments that just use photos of the fish on a tape are not exactly accurate.

Only caught a few but they were good quality. I think they were too cold to bite. Water temp was 56 when I first went out. That’s cold for Florida!

    Congrats on the fish.
I bought a decal tape measure from the Crappie.com website to put on the top of my cooler.
I know a guy that might be able to hook you up.
It would work better than having to hold your hands just right.

Nice fish. I think I’m seeing double-Slabs in a few of those pics. lol
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

The first two pics are of the same fish. The one being measured. Actually the first three pics are the same 14 incher. Only one 14 incher caught. I didn’t measure the others but they were nice too.
