Well ive never been much for taking photos, especially when im the subject. lol
And frankly im not smart enough to post them even if i did.
I do enjoy when others do however, and spend much of my time watching videos on youtube of a whole variety of things.
Including of coarse Crappie fishing videos.
There is a massive amount of water down this way, much of it not shown on maps, except Google earth maps.
Some day take a ride down I 95 and exit at Malabar Rd in Palm Bay.
Go west on Malabar road till it turns to dirt, maybe 5 miles, then keep going another mile or so till you come to the nicest launch area youve ever seen, at a lake youve never heard of. But you wont be seeing any lake at the launch area, nor will you find one after leaving the launch area. But be paying close attention as you go, or you might be out of fuel before you get back. lol. This is the kind of stuff i enjoy doing, even more than catching fish. But there are plenty of them also, just not by trolling. You can also access that area from Stick Marsh, on Mondays and Thursdays you can drive thru the gate at the lock in the parking lot. And drive on a good sand road for a long way. Water to blow your mind, and several remote ramps at different places on side roads.
My nice 17’ Key West hasent moved in 2 years because of the new Jon boat that is better for doing all that. But your Carolina Skiff would be just fine also.
There are a couple of black guys in older boats who regularly fish the farm 13 side of Stick Marsh. If you happen to get down that way, pay attention to them.

No, its actually known at least locally as Citori, part of the 3 forks area, but again you wont find it or many others unless you use Google earth.
Find Stick Marsh, then scroll north just to the right or east side of the river. You will see lakes on the river that dont show up also.

If anyone is interested in that map, you can find it on Jim Porters Web Site. I think the east/west canal mentioned is the deep water canal the runs along the levee that separates the Stick Marsh and Farm 13.i have fished the place pretty often for the last 15 years. I like the Farm 13 side best for crappie.

That map can serve as a reference for finding your way around when you first go there.
But you wont be finding much hydrilla as shown in the Stick Mash side.
What you will find on that side and lots of them is stumps below the water level, especially when its low, so be very carefull there.
Also on the Farm 13 side the ditches shown in the lake arent easy to locate due to changes since that map was created.
The best way to get from the ramp to Farm 13 is that when you go thru that cut in the trees after leaving the ramp dont be putting the hammer down because you see lots of water ahead.
But instead slowly angle 45 deg. to your left to the berm on the east side, thats where the deepest water is, and then proceed straight to the tree line separating the 2 lakes, and then follow that tree line west. Again, the deepest water you will find in both lakes.
For trolling, the Farm 13 side is favored the most, just get into 6’ or so and put lines out.
As for the maps they can be bought at the tackle shops in Fellsmere.

Well i said i was only joking, besides you can lead them to the water, but they dont always drink. lol
Its about like everyplace else, not much different than what we have closer to home.
Its about a 200 mile round trip for me to go out to Walk in Water lake.
But that damned Marvin convinced me i should do it with the pics he posted.
And i ended up losing one of my favorite rods to boot. lol
