Was a great time Danny, thanks for the company....didn't realize where the time had gone by so quick, on such a gorgeous day...Yep, a tad bit early I guess=water temps are about 8F higher down there yet, but the place never disappoints. Some solid shoulder filets, for sure. Very scattered, caught in all areas of the impoundment....& Yobuck, no worries, still 90% bass fisherman down there & 90% of them fish the "new" Fellsmere reservoir=we weren't caught up in that mess...excellent relaxing day on the water...with a few line stretchers to keep us honest

And, as I generally don't divulge my fishin holes, I figured won't hurt nothin talkin bout this place
as it's so far down there, and is quite well known etc, etc, etc ...

Well i was of coarse joking about not telling anyone. Especially since every crappie fisherman in America read your post. lol
Im glad you did well, apparently a few guys are doing well with Crappies on the new lake also.
I visit both lakes several times a week just to get myself out of the house. The crowds at the new lake have been amazing every day. Im personally just getting back into the mood with the lower temps, so i will be going myself very soon.
There are 2 places in Fellsmere for minnows and soon to be 3. Coming from the north on 95, best to exit at the Sebastian Fellsmere exit if you want live bait. Otherwise bring it with you.

Great trip. I fished there many years back and caught huge crappie in the east west canal. Worth a try next time you go.

You might be referring to the C54 canal which runs from Stick Marsh to the Sebastian river, a distance of about 10 miles, and running under 2 bridges one being I 95. There is a good ramp and parking area for the canal shortly after entering the road leading to Stick Marsh.
The canal is also used by a local rowing club.
The same canal runs thru the north end of Stick Marsh itself, extending from the St Johns to a lock at the west end of the C54 at the Stick Marsh parking area.

Danny- You forgot to put the jig colors/sizes on pkgs.!! Pretty sure you already know this...your filet sizes range from 2.6 - 3.23 ozs..........

Say there Yobuck- With your obvious expansive knowledge of the area coupled with Phantom's pictorial layout, easily lends itself to finally unlocking some of YOUR photos from Ft. Knox!!
