Thread: Sunrise or Sunset

The fish seamed to be confused as well or just decided to sleep in, started at dark-thirty hour, where I caught good fish last week & had 4 fish in 3 passes, then 4 boats showed up around me, as the ones in the distance came closer, however, 1 was Crappieday, we exchanged reports & went to scout different new waters to cover more area @ bout 9am. Spot 2 I set out rods & another familiar boat approaches from the horizon & it's Phantom. Once again compare notes, then troll on. Nothing happening at spot 2, so it's on to spot 3, troll a 1/2 hr with 1 dink & Crappieday calls & said he's found a few, I say to self or divine intervention tells me to finish the pass in the area I was in & rods start going off & don't stop til' seeing 25 on the clicker (11"-13"), certainly the best bite of the early season so far. Could of upgraded some 11" fish, however, something in the subconscious tells me you've done better than you deserve, so I went to hunt down Phantom, but as the "handle" suggest, he's vanished, so I find Crappieday, who's catching fish, & troll out in front of him to chat for a while, then call it a morning. Sure good to see you guys OTW & have something no depth finder can help you with, live CDC intel...tight lines BTW Blue tuxedo paddle tail seen the most action...
