On these hot summer days where making hundreds of casts can be draining, I like to just make a handful of casts and dunk some live shiners. You never know what you'll get in these South Florida canals and this trip was no different. I thought I was going to get some peacock bass and mayan cichlids, but I definitely didn't think I'd get a snook. Hooked into my second ever snook and I was able to finally get my hands on my first. This looked like a small-scale fat snook, but is anyone that knows these better than me able to confirm or deny this? Anyway, hope you like the video.
