    Default Island Lake (Citra, Fl.)

I have to go to a wedding September 19th and my wife and her family booked a house on Island lake. I think it is a private lake but I am wondering if anyone on here has ever fished it. Maybe somebody can give me some information on it. I'm taking my boat down and its rigged for longline trolling. It's northeast of Citra, FL. Here is a link to the lake. Maybe somebody can give me some information on it. I'm taking my boat down and its rigged for longline trolling.

I fished it years ago, it does have speckled perch and bass, catfish. Specks run about a pound to pound and a 1/4, there may be some bigger in there now.

Do you remember if its clear or dark water? Colors that work? I also have lights to fish at night if that would work.

From what I can remember water is pretty clean and clear, I always used maribou jigs in chartruese, white, and pink head white body. Plain hook and minnows work too, never fished it at night so I am no help there.
