What bait do you use to catch tilapia? Got a lot of them in a pond near me.

I have caught 2 that would have gone maybe a pound, I can't amazon how the fight was. A 1 pounder is a great fight, congrats!

JR, I believe that this was an odd opportunity. They are vegetarian so I think if the jig had been any bigger I would never have gotten the hit. The jig is a 1/43 bare head with a very tiny bit of maribou and a #8 sickle hook. Like I like to say, a little dumb luck doesn’t hurt.

Congrats on winning a great battle on ultralight tackle mister. That memory... that fishin' story... will be one that you can add to the many other awesome experiences you've had on the water.
Thanks for taking us along with you and for takin' the time to share a way cool experience with the rest of us.

Crappieday, if I knew what the winning combo was I’d be tying them by the dozens! I could have used you in the boat right about then.
