    Default Bite is hot

Some of our local lakes here are really getting low. One in particular I've been fishing is down about 2 feet. Requires slow and easy getting out to the lake, Jack plate really coming in handy. That being said, the fishing has been awsome. Deep part is only 6 feet. Catching lots of fish over a pound. Probably best year here since I can remember. Catching 50 to 60 every outing wife and I. Keeping less than our limit and sharing with family and friends. Took my brother yesterday who doesn't get out to fish much. Had to leave by 12, put 42 in the livewell and later his freezer. Been wondering about this water level. Good catch. Anytime you can catch up with family is a good day.

My Wife and I are going on Monday, I'm new to the forum we just got a new Tracker 175 multi-species and was wondering if you are fishing Istokpoga? Can you tell us what lake you fish or is that off limits to ask? Thanks for any information.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new boat. The lake I'm fish is in Polk County. Your a pretty good ways south. Never fished Istokpoga but heard it was good.
