I left TN in ‘15 and have questioned my sanity ever since. Hope you find what you need.

Good luck D, the panhandle is great for salt & fresh water fishing, wish I knew more about the area to help pass along community information, but I'm sure others will chime in......

Good luck there "D". For several years now I found Virginia, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Montana, and about 6 others great places to fish. Not too sure about the schools and hospitals. Hope that helps.Mariana/Defuniak SpringsMariana/Defuniak SpringsMariana/Defuniak Springs

I am retired AF still working at Tyndall AFB just south of west of Marianna and Defuniak. The Panama City area has some good fishing here. We have a great location on Deerpoint Lake which is divided by a dam where fresh water can be fished all the way up north to Econfina Creek and a saltwater side where the bay dumps into the Gulf. So you have your choice at one location. Have a great one.

It’s been 35 years, but when I was in the Air Force we went over to Merritt’s Mill Pond a few times, near Mariana. We tore up the shell crackers.

Before you make your decision think about how far you are going to have to drive to get to the D'Arbone gathering each November.

Man, it's been 40 years since I was stationed at Eglin. We bass fished Lake Juniper. Good bass fishing and lots of gators. Ain't got a clue about crappie. Good luck with your search.
