Yeh, I was stationed at Eglin myself. Oldest daughter was born there. Back in 74/75. Family has changed my mine again. Talked to Skiptomylu and probably gonna look near him on Toledo Bend or Sam Rayburn. Will be close to my only living sibling, my brother. He is getting older and I need to be closer.

My oldest was born while I was stationed at Elgin in ‘84. My buddy had a little Jon boat, I had a trolling motor, and we split the cost of a battery. We usually fished at a little lake west of Crestview, don’t remember the name of it. Caught loads of shell crackers there too.

If you are willing to go a little further away from Marianna, live more east towards Tallahassee. Good medical/shopping/etc. there. Close to Lake Seminole which has great fishing. Close to great saltwater fishing too.

I've lived in Panama City since I retired the AF (2001), the fishing is great and varied, schools are good and we have a plethora of doctors etc and 2 major med centers.
