    Default Eyes & Back Upgrades

With the boat becoming 5yrs old, I guess it was time to upgrade a few of the items that were "low budget" during the build, that I felt would change for the better as time went on like electronics, etc....Always out for a deal, I've set $$$ amounts that " if it ever goes under" I'll get one....well turns out 2 items achieved this through Academy Sports sales, 1st was a 7" minimum screen to help the aging eyes out & always wanted SI feature for our shallow lakes & lagoons...purchased a Lowrance triple shot with enough for my needs, SI, US Maps, Chrip downscan, GPS, ect... & came in under $500 at $400 actually for the 7" screen model.....next I've been wanting to join the Millennium crowd for some time to ease the back stress after long- line trolling for hrs & came across these pedestal seats at $50 a pop, that should do just fine, beings most flats boats traditional have a 2" foam cushion bench style, that doesn't offer much lower back support, hopefully if your boat is in need of these items, the price points will leave a smile on your face, time to find some water!!Name: IMG_20200330_190347339.jpg

I believe those will do just fine. Looks real good too. Wait til you find some bluegill beds on your side image, life won’t be the same afterwards. Hope it all lives up to your needs/expectations.

Looks great Jeff. Good job. Those Millenials would have to have the backs included to help my back! doh

Great upgrades Jeff. We switched to the millennium seats last fall and really like them. Much better back support. Good luck with it all.

Thanks guys.....Ed the seats have a upward curve in the back area, I'm hoping this design will serve as a substitute for a backrest as I've noticed they make you sit upright....but only a extended use will tell the real story, will keep my fingers crossed, although they can't hurt from what I had.....

Jeff- IMHO that type will be comfy but cervical support only...I ordered one(thanks) for front trolling motor use, but already own 2 saltwater white chairs and love them for back support.
