    Default LIL' SUGAR SUGAR

Went out Saturday to scout a Lake I've never fished Lake Juliana, ZERO specks before change of plans @ 10:30 am...dozen other boats out there beating the banks for Bass, they should of joined me in open water as I caught my share on the crappie baits, including a nice 4 1/2#er, but not my target, soooo I goggled near-by lakes w/public boat ramps & found a small 800 acre lake that proved more than accomendating, in the heat of the day from 11:30-4 pm pulled 1 after another of solid 12-13" fish, no monsters, but had me talking to myself, just another LIL' Sugar Sugar in the boat, was refreshing & thankful for the slight breeze that put me back in my element of long-line trolling & better yet was the bonus Shellies, had 1 on the long pole 80+ft behind the boat that ran drag several times before surfacing, thought for sure a gar, the fight was much stronger than the 4# bass....beattle-spins, road runners, tandem jigs, didn't matter, was just 1 of those outings when luck is on your side, however, got some help playing with the new lowrance triple shot & the SI feature that proved a pattern of 8-9 ft contour line the fish held to, so I hope everyone gets out OTW, if but to take your mind off the Virus Hysteria for a while, cause it's good for you...Name: IMG_20200314_184750620.jpg

Always nice to score on new water, and it sure was a nice day to do it. Those shellies sure are fun. The river had more boats on it this weekend than fish...................................

Very good job Jeff. Nice to know where some green fish are, they’re fun now and then. Good to see that you found what you were after too, the crackers are always a pleasant bonus for me. Took a while to clean all those.
