    Default Crappie country


    We live in between Okeechobee, Kenansville, and Vero beach. The hardest part of fishing in the middle of crappie country is trying to decide which fishery to go to. Have a hard time making my mind up sometimes.

    Dont beleive a word of it. its actually pretty easy picking the wrong place to be. lol

    I’m living proof of that.

    Pick one and run with it. There’s days that I pick the one I have the toughest time on just to get to know it better, others I just want to fish and enjoy. I also have many choices but usually ready to relax and enjoy and the fish are just icing on the cake. It isn’t always about a cooler full.

    I’ll give my self a headache checking, wind, weather, etc. but ended up going to Lake Marian for a few hours with my two sons. We kept 9 and got a good show from a lot of ospreys. Couldn’t decide where exactly to start then we seen a osprey catch an 11 or 12 in fish right by our boat. It was one of the coolest days I’ve had on the water
