    Thumbs up New Rods

After Bass fishing/Hunting it is time for me to get back in the crappie Game. The manufacturer that I use for Bass fishing gear introduced a line of Crappie Rods this year, The Archani, comes in 8'6", 10' and 12'. I could not resist and opted for 2 of the 12 ft (Currently they have a BOGO on the rods)and paired them with their Karve Spinning reel in a 1000 size. The Karve series is there low end Spinning reel at $25, Butter smooth, and an amazingly smooth drag. Ordered Monday and they were delivered today and Amazing Quality, feel and light weight, the rod is only 6 oz, without the reel. It is a 2 pc rod and does not use the tip into the handle section to hold the sections together, they use a solid pin if you will to mate the sections. After mated the sections are just short of touching. I like that design better than the B&M Style. Now if the weather will clear a little I am gonna go catch me some sammiches!

I have been eyeballing the sixgill products for a while but haven’t built up the nerve to buy a rod online that I can’t handle first. They seem to get pretty good reviews on their products as well as costumer service.

With the BOGO right now people are scooping them up. The owner of the company is very responsive to questions so I will ask when they will be back in stock.
Just FYI, If you have heard of Allen Flyfishing both are owned by the same guy.

I have a good amount of theirs, May have to make a trip to a gathering and bring some with me so others can handle them. I was a skeptic at first when I bought my first combo from them, and well

Got a chance to get on the water today and give the rods a try. I am very impressed with the sensitivity, and feel. Caught 2 slabs and the rods performed awesome. The connection between the 2 sections amazed me, Did not feel like I was using a 2 pc rod.

    From the owner of Sixgill
They just went into production again in Dec, so it most likely wont be until about April, they moved alot faster then we expected, so we are going to make sure we double up on them!

The silver ones are the crappie rods. They do have the 7 foot Saga series that are Medium light that would be perfect for Crappie, Those are Blue
