Yep Doug...live sand fleas...no fiddlers at area bait shops...was ironic Greendog's video was a carbon copy of my experience, thus posting...

We went back a couple days later and it was a tougher bite; darn near impossible to hook 'em! We were running out of live sandfleas so I gave my son what was left and I switched to frozen. Had both sandfleas and fiddlers I had saved in the freezer from last time down but I couldn't buy a bite with them. I've heard of folks catching them with frozen bait but they sure weren't wanting it that day. I ended up tying on a DOA crab and had a few bites but couldn't hook up.

Years ago when the bridge at NSB wasn’t a high span and folks would fish from it, I stood next to the best sheep master I’ve ever seen. His opinion was that live bait was the only way to guarantee good fishing unless all the planets aligned and then frozen would work. I’m no authority having caught less sheep’s in my life than I have fingers. One day......

Sheepshead?? They're pretty tasty, mostly taste like mutton but a little fishy
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

I haven't been to Woodruff in a while. It sounds like they sprayed and all the kill is floating out to the river. You pretty much have to constantly clean your jig when its like that.
