Good video of the 3 generation team, haven't seen any Woody videos, so the tough bite conditions up to that way, has to be true...sad that spraying situation....

Lake Woodruff is a wildlife refuge. Why can they not let it be wild?

Yeah, my folks have been spending winters crappie fishing the area for over 20 years. They almost exclusively long line trolled Dexter and Woodruff until a couple years ago when they started fishing the river due to the slow bite on the lakes. It's hardly worth the ride back to Woodruff anymore although it does have it's days.

One of my favorite things about Florida is there's always something biting! The bite was a little slow with the specks so we headed to the salt.

Nice video Slow in Astor, too funny, did the exact same thing Saturday morning to stay out of the wind, fished the backside of bridge pilings to no luck, then found a overpass just like yours in video & caught 6 fairly quick, however, only 2 legal at 14", key was rising tide flow, switch went off with slack tide ....pan seared butter, garlic glove, salt/pepper for dinner,,,, tacos look good though, maybe next time....BTW lost first one on 25# fluro leader, went straight braid & never lost another....Name: IMG_20200215_175622980.jpg
