    Default Jig fishing

Was wondering when jig fishing lily pads do you ever use 2 jigs instead of a single jig. Talking five feet of water or less.

I do not, get enough troubles getting 1 in and out of the thick stuff. But that's just me.

That gives me anxiety just thinking about it. One jig more than enough

Most pads I fish are also packed in with water lettuce and hyacinths. Sometimes even raking holes to drop through.

I’m on the exact same page as Huntinslabs. Having done some of that I’ve been lucky to get mine back once dropped in the stuff. A #4 usually works well for me until the fish get big and then I go to a #2 and take my chances. Good luck and keep us posted.
