Default December bite on lake Talquin fl

Anyone have any info on crappie fishing Talquin lake in December, early January, thinking of giving it a try for the first time...

I always start fishing right after Christmas there since I have a place at TLC. Tired-up with deer hunting right now. However, from the reports I'm getting for Nov there might not be any crappie left by end of December!

Sorry dog, thanks for your reply, are the reports you speak of, catching from long line trolling or single pole jigging,

I did fair on Talquin a couple of weeks ago longline trolling and the bite should get better the next few weeks. I am planning on trying there this weekend weather permitting.
