    Default Sloooow Fishin

Had a very nice day with the family on the water. Started with a slight breeze as we unloaded at the ramp but got choppy & stayed that way. Put in at Enterprise and think I may have run into a crappie.com guy that guided me into my parking spot. It was a slow catchin day but was able to find some healthy nice sized fish, littleman was able to catch the bigger fish of the day as usual. Saw Tim out there working his area that I saw him on a few weeks ago. Also, saw a pontoon boat trolling backwards not sure if it was Don but I don't see very many boats trolling backwards with more poles than a 5 man band can handle.

some nice looking fish you got there. and a beautiful sun rise. It sounds like some of the club members are starting to show up at the lake. We may need to get flags or something !

another good day at the office !

Thanks for the offer Brian. Good to see y’all out having a good time. I only kept 6 but lost several that would have made the cut, one was tarp material. They were hitting very tentatively and the rim of the mouth just wont hold a big fish. It was slow but I would be about ready to go and get three or four and slow back down. Maybe next week.

I think I’m going to let anyone that wants to donate some fillets, cant seem to figure a way to be fair to everyone that wants to help. Rob Anderson has a lions share of fillets that he has been putting back, Slimjim has some, I have some in bags too big for me to use, Up2Specks also offered, and I’m probably forgetting someone or more. My two bags have 26 fillets in them and I wont keep any more. I don’t think we can use more than 150, and thats enough to feed 50 people as I’ve been told to figure. Folks will take them home if they aren’t eaten, I’m sure.
