And they say I’ll do anything for the headlines. Glad you weren’t running when it happened, and that nothing was hurt but you’re pride. It’ll be better next time.

I planted mine good a few months back. Got lucky with outgoing tide I just immediately dropped trolling motor over jumped of and pushed bow into deeper water hit power button on remote and pushed and wiggled ads end till it broke loose and hopped back in. Pride was bruised but kept on. One of the games we play chasing them salty prizes.

Great mess of salty fish, looks like a great time. Glad you were able to get the boat off the sandbar with little to no damage.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

How can a meek little crappie be fun to catch after these monsters?

Yes Brian- 0 boat damage, pics look unsmart/damage-inclined, however, thankfully tide/wave action gently and temporarily laid my baby to rest awhile. Myself, on the other hand, had a difficult time not acting like an expecting father while fruitlessly casting and peeking over my shoulder. No need to fret OR anchor up cause the tide kept dropping!! Last unreserved stay over was while Bass fishing in MD. 45 years ago with brother and his friend Duke when Ron skipped us along like a flat rock about 50 mph across an unseen mud flat. Who said history doesn't repeat itself? Hopefully it will be equally that long 'til we hang out @the bar!
Yes, Linda, grounded was tour du jour (aka TIME OUT!!) however, adversity did lend to sweeter trout filets!
Jeff- that 80 k Young Brothers rig w/350 SW suzi's was quite the complement to 24 year old Guide's numbers/skill level and our subsequent high-quality filet assortment but just a trinket compared to his other boat commandeered by his younger brother that day= 500 k, 34' powered w/ 4 SW suzi 350's!!(1400 hp) Large change/deep pocket to hire but large style/comfort prevailed!
Headed out to sweetwater today to /smooth over/reestablish my boat/owner relationship.

Hey Vic- long time no see...see your transition's coming soon though. I love Snook as well, but Grouper/Cobia easily are top choices for me too.
