Default Pontoon Pappy grandiose recap was

unparalleled too say the least(pics don't lie)!! Don's invite yesterday included a 20' pontoon craft, backtrolling 14 rods of varying lengths, artificials only, St. John's fed sanctuary(Monroe), meet @ramp before the rooster announces the new day, a roll of paper towels(laughter clean up on chin, shirt/floor), victuals(look it up and be surprised), change of undergarment, non-specific end of game, and the famous Pontoon Pappy Don etc. etc. etc. that apparently I have become addicted to.
Absotively(new word NOT misspelled) beautiful sunrise curtain-lift accompanied with the forecasted friendly, intermittent cloud-cover/laid down winds/favorable fish-feed rating scale.
Encountered the normal fish interruption while deploying(1st mate's job) Don's array of non-descript, 14 rods of assorted length, amusing, pre-assigned positioning for each rod. Nice keeper-size, well-shouldered hostage made his way into iceolation?! Well, to make a long, fun-filled day's account(day @amusement park) less long, end-of-day stats were as follows: w/t 76-80, weather forecasted unusually accurate, high enjoyment(no surprise), injuries/fatalities 0(noticeable laugh-related ribcage tenderness). Thirty-four well-screen prisoners from 10.5-13.5" out of 60 ish caught. Bait description was micro-mini hand tied hair jigs to rat tail, sickle tail, thumper tail, tentacle tail tubes in a vast array of color with light shades excelling during bright condition phase, darks on cloud influx. Varying jig weight from 1/64 - 1/16 oz. in ball head>road runner>beetle spin etc. Varying degree of success(per usual) in a lot of experimented combos(that's what a 1st mate does, at least this one). All baits were non-tipped/dipped or altered from factory settings. Enjoy the only shot my camera's diminished end of trip battery power allowed. Thanks again Don for the day.

ps- Please don't get your BVD's in a wad, I took 9 guests home to do the Crisco disco, Don kept the others for his give away to his needy friends, 0 for himself(never does!)

Wow, great catch. Good job guys. Mixed bag of baits for sure, but whatever it takes.
