Monroe will never be the same, after the likes of you two! Lol Bet there was a lotta laughs in that boat? Thanks for taking us along.
Yesterday evening I was lucky enough to get the coveted kitchen pass. Not able to stay home once that was in place, I made a call and Doug was happy to join me this morning. Monroe yesterday, so we chose Harney today. Conditions were the same as yesterday, slick calm for a lot of the day. The boat performed good without issue which made the day even better. Fished from a little after 7 til a little after one. Moved a couple of times and found some good fish at some and none at others. Still a bit early for Harney. Big fish of the day was 13 1/4” and a few others were good also. I’m sure we caught 30, maybe more , and threw some barely keepers back . With 9 fish in the bucket we headed home. Doug wanted ten so he could throw me a pair of high fives but that last fish was elusive. We split the fish at the house and I once again have dinner size pacs for my queen and I. Boat traffic was light with few fishermen seen. One boat came out of the north end that I haven’t seen on the water for a while now, a Hydro Stream about 17’ with at least a 150 on the back showed us just how fast he could get into zoom mode. A blast from the past. A fun day in good company and a few fish to boot. Got to work on the bathroom so it might have to last a while. Two days in a row, who’s complaining!! Hope you get out soon and maybe I’ll see you there. Til then........ Skeet

Yes sir Skeet- Since my Dougie-do list was mostly buttoned up, it was a no-brainer to accept a trip to the Far East to enjoy/assess your transition to the new woman. This rig will serve you well my friend in its saline durability as well as the fresh side of your future outings. You chose well Tim, I mean the boat... really!

Harney w/t was 78 at start then easily punched to mid 80's by 10.

Man, what a weekend !! I wanted to go Sunday as well but just didn't make it.
Nice report and hope to be in that area soon as well.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"skeetbum thanked you for this post
two days in a row ? Wow !! The new ride looks good. I like your rod holder set up. See you out there soon.
Hey! Those waters are off limits..LOL...J/K...glad the boat is becoming second to the fishing...my only trip to Harney left me feeling it's turning the corner from IRMA's devastation, but still waiting for the glory years of past....got me thinking of this "old" timer that once spoke of speck cycles on a lake...need him posting again !!!
It was a good day Jeff. As things turn on we may see a better bite than last year.. I’ll holler at you again soon and we’ll give it a shot.
