Been involved with the slabfest for over 11 years, from the very first one which was held at downtown Sanford.

"W"hen - are you guys going ???? May have to see if I can get the boat ready and go sometime next week??

"W"ho - is going this weekend ????

Anyway, hope all is well with everyone. The FL board has seemed unusually quiet lately & just had to ask

I’ve been kinda busy getting the new boat up to speed and just busy period. Only fished once for crappie and once for gills, with the gill trip being short due to technical difficulties. I’m also fishing tomorrow, back to basics for a while. I’ll post if’n I get any worth talking about.

Been hanging out in the brine. Fished Monroe a few times and did well. Just been finding myself lost in the trips and not getting much for pics except the sunrise to tag the trips. Been having lots of fun. Been camping quite a bit too.

I been thinkin on it, might give it a try when we get cooler weather = almost there ........

And Crappiegirl has been wondering the same thing---getting motor tuned and im ready ready--maybe a little slower but ready!!

I just caught this. Kinda slow here though for crappie. The bass been crazy, ripping my jigs right off my 4lb test line. Had to go to six.

Slab if he's not out catchin them he's driving 17 hours to a crappie expo, nice fish !!
