The past couple of years has been tough on Crescent, but there was a good shrimp run this year which should be good fishing this year. I usually pull jigs but alot of folks push minnows with good results. I am hoping to be down there late December/early January.

Last year I went there first time late November on thanks giving week. All fish on southern pro hot grubs with 1/16 plain lead jig on 6# line. Trolled eight rods .6 to .8 mph two rods each 6ft 8ft 10ft 12ft first time fishing that way and first time there I thought I did pretty good. Lots of doubles and triples not a lot of other anglers. Good grub colors were popsicle. Brown and yellow. Blue and yellow and pink and white
