Default Do crappies bite in this HOT weather?

Well, I'm at the age where I don't buy no green bananas! lol So if I get a chance to go fishing I'm going to try. Knew it was going to be another scorcher, so stocked up on water and zero sugar Gatorade. Met a friend at the Lake and off we went.

Water temps 87.5 degrees, water calm no wind, fishing anywhere from 8-14 Fow.

I also decided to just start using the jigs I have instead of keep buying. Found these Gary Yamamoto Panfish and Crappie jigs, had them for awhile now. They were the ticket today, don't think you can even buy them anymore. Gave my friend today's catch, brought home 14, the two on top were pushing 14" and the others below were 11-12 inchers.

Great day Marv. We been catching some on this side too. Had to go to the brine this wekend. Heard the big push of fresh saltwater was welcomed by the feesh. Man it was alive over there. Most activity I have seen since January.
