Default ANYONE LIVE ON THE HARRIS CHAIN OF LAKES?

    If
anyone lives on canals or waterfront on the Harris Chain of Lakes i may have some good news coming your way-----

i would like to know how many, if any ,and if you live on a canal or waterfront?

The ones living on canals will be the happiest if everything goes through we are working on

I live on a canal on Lake Griffin, South east side Lakeside Village. Our canal is full of hydrilla as is the lake in front of the canal.

Heres what is going on for you folks that live on a Harris chain canal. Myself, John Miklos(former chairman of the st johns board for 9 years), and Sean Parks(county commissioner) are trying to get a dredging maintenance program in place for all canals on the harris chain. So far it looks like a go--hold the applause for a few weeks but i think its coming!! Think of the Crappie and bass getting back to sand bottoms and rid of the muck---fishing everywhere again!

Bymo lives in the villages and just bought a boat tailor made for fishing those canals and is close by. That is great news! I will be down next winter to fish those as well.

    Thanks for your efforts!

CG1 you need to look up Everglades Trust on fb and CCA and try to get all 3 involved in all projects. Florida waterways have been treated like a cesspool for to long and things must change. I joined CCA this year to help fund their battles and improvement plans. Agriculture is a huge piece of the problem, at least the muck farming in and around Apopka and Harris chain was halted, touch late and still suffering the damage done.
