Further info. can be accessed on FWC report a tagged manatee hotline. This is only the 2nd one I have encountered, ironically both have been this year. Manatees are mammals that require them to occasionally breathe air and are often compared to pasture-grazing, non-aggressive bovines. This association has earned them the nickname of "Sea cow". Thought I'd mention this due to the majority of our members being incapable of seeing/knowing about these creatures.
Yesterday, just prior to this encounter, I was gifted with two impressive speckled trout for the saltwater ice-slurry cooler ride home = 5 hours of fruitless trout chuckin' & truckin'. One in particular had a particular size/demeanor profile. See pic of big 21.5" girl. Her lady friend @19.75" also made honorable mention and a muscle relaxing "chill down". Enjoy-
