Headed out to Toho early Friday morning. Speck bite was slow, but managed about 6 long lining 1/16 oz jigs tipped with minnows, caught some cats and some big bulls.
Specks were caught trolling in 7-8’ at .8mph into wind only. Gray and black jigs were the best colors, not a single fish caught on bright. No fish caught with wind.
With wind not cooperating and a slow speck bite and kids with me, We adjusted to porcupine quills and long poles, crickets and put the wood to the blue gills. All caught in 10’ on rough bottom. Large fish, caught a pile in an hour.
Caught 4 bass to 3 lbs on minnows in 7’
Caught 3 cats on cricketsbon gold #2, no lead, free floated down current.
Good day, wind was up and down.

I don’t mind you asking at all, I was fishing on TOHO.
It doesn’t seem like people give any level of details or reports or actual location on this site, so I’m just following suit.
i did give details regarding depth, colors wind, bait and bite though, hope that helps.
Yea, I think the days of people openly sharing very specific information publicly are pretty much over. It's turned around and bit too many folks in the butt.
I've been wanting to get over and check out toho to get a feel for it for duck season but haven't had the opportunity.
