    Good bag of fish there. Had a redbelly try to rip the rod out of my hand this morning, and he wasn’t but 7” long. Them things are tough. Haven’t kept any yet 8this spring but that’s about to change.

    Found a few more on the flats using a Carolina rig setup. Was going to get a guide but things came up so learning by practicing and asking a few questions. Name:  IMG_0238.jpg

    Here's a tip for ya one of the local long time guides gave me.. go buy you a bag of hog feed pellets or cattle range cubes or gar roe if you can get it.. bait up just outside the pads, right where the drop is.. wait about 30 min and start reeling them in... You'll have cats mixed in too( which me and the kids like), but those red breast will come right in
