Default What to do while not fishing?????

Haven't been fishing in a looong time.
Wife having laser surgery, cataracts. Drops pre-operation, drops post operation, waiting time between left and right eye.

Ornamental trees in front and behind house loaded with fruit. What can one do with all of natures bounty??

Don't want to let nature, raccoons, coyotes, opossums, squirrels consume the fruit and leave me with the seeds to pickup.
Decided to research the use of such fruit. Found several recipes and decided to make a go of it.

    Final count, as of today:
15 pints of SPICED LOQUAT PICKLES
3 pints of LOQUAT- VANIllA JAM
    3 pints of LOQUAT-GINGER JAM
    4 pints LOQUAT-GINGER SPREAD.

Loquats from ornamental trees in yard, Lemon juice from home grown tree, ginger from home grown ginger root.
Whats not nice to be able to make something consumable from your own yard???

You've brought some of that Pickled Lo"quack" to crappie events. Not bad stuff. How much you charge for some of that jam, I might be over shortly if the price is right! lol - Maybe trade for Slabsauce! lol

    Looks and sounds mighty tasty.
