    Default Thanks for the Info.

I just wanted to say “Thank You” to those of you that sent me information on Lake Talquin. My Dad, who will be 80 this year, and I went down last week and had a great time. We stayed at Whippoorwill Lodge and the accommodations were excellent. We fished 7 mornings and 6 afternoons with a rest/lunch break during the middle of the day. The wind messed us up quite a bit but we still managed to get 115 really nice crappie. Crappie the size of the ones we caught there are basically non-existent where we live. Once again “Thanks”, to those of you that were kind enough to offer help. A special “Thank You” goes out to ‘TNT’ for all of your help. I really appreciated it!

Yes, we were in the boat in my profile pic. (1974 Ranger) but it isn’t a stick-steer.

    TNT is dynamite. Great guy.

Great story, thanks for sharing. A pic with your dad and some of the catch would be nice if you have one.

Glad you guys had a great time. I was at Ingrams this past wknd. I was in a Tracker and the only boat I saw pushing jigs. Most everybody seems to pull them. Im just a weird duck I guess. It was successful in catching fish though. TnT is a good guy. Hope to fish with him soon.
