I went on the War Eagle site and looked at the boats. I am looking into a crappie boat soon. My 22' bay boat fishes two people on the bow with no problem pushing 10 poles with jigs but both me and my fishing pardner are getting tired at our age on the two big steps to get on and off the bow. The War Eagle looked nice but even with a place for two seats on the bow the seats are so close to the gunnel a fat bottom angler like me might be hanging out over the side. Looking at the lay out of the crappie rig on the site the seats are to far back so they use rod holders that bend back to the seats. That looks good but you loose around 4 foot of rod length. we use 19 and 21' rods to get farther out in front of the boat. I can see what crappies do on the Live Scope as the boat approaches them. What I liked best about War Eagle is the camo patterns inside and out. I am now looking at Creastliner's 20' Crappie boat. I think there is more room at the bow.
I don't mind sharing where I caught my fish.
Most was caught in their mouth.
