    Default Shad

Never caught one so going to give em a shot today. Phil and I wanted to fish the Hontoon area but with the tourney going on we chose another place away from the crowd. Tied these up this morning as close to memory of the darts I’ve seen over the years. Hope they work, wish us luck.

    Good luck.

Went over the St. John's, on Hwy 46, yesterday, and saw three boats trolling "Shad Alley".
Good luck with those beautiful darts.

The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.

    Default Did Good

Phil and I dropped in after the sun was up already, but Andy and his friend Phil were already there. Tied up a couple of rods and began looking for a fish or two. My buddy Phil was the one to get the first fish, and it was on one of my handties with a red head and yellow tail. He got all of his fish on that color combo, 5 fish I think. I got two and a nice crappie. I was glad to have Andy close by so we could watch and learn how to make the presentation. Sure shortened the learning curve. Good to see you guys this morning, and I hope you found the mother load after we left. Anyway, here’s a few pics and I’m sorry to say that we didn’t get a pic of Andy and Phil, did I forget my manners or what? Til next time.....Skeet.

You save a few for cut bait this summer? Good morning out there.

Glad you and your friend Phil caught some as it was a tough day. Caught a few more after you left and wound up with 36 on the clicker. Thanks for the jigs Tim going to give them a work out next trip.
