Not able to take the time to fish for a while, I can’t explain just how good this post makes me feel. I’ve fished with Jeff and know how he is and just how good a day can be with him. About this time last year, he gave me the skinny on a bite that was going on Jesup. His info was spot on and I had taken a couple from work to show them how well it can work. They still talk of that trip often. He did what he does so well and took the gewber upper crust and gave them a day they will long remember. Well Done Jeffrey! You’ve done very well this time. Hope the traveling gewber has a safe trip home and comes back again soon. With any luck my project will be done or very close come the weekend and I can get back after em myself.

I'm catching them off my sea wall with the new bobber technique used yesterday. How cool is that. It's not exactly new to me, but new confidence to use it for sure. But I guess having the jig only 10 inches under the bobber is new to me. I used to hate casting bobber with two feet of line under it. Would mostly use a slit rig, but then you loose a little touch. Thanks Jeffy.

Your ears should have been ringing hard Tuesday buddy, I appreciate all the kind comments posted, but like I told Mike in the boat & Ed back at the ramp, it's "The best jig fisherman I know/Mr. Crappieday" that's built any kind of confidence in anything I can think to know about jig fishing & thank you again for instruction. Only thing I had to figure out was color....well it's your turn this upcoming week w/the gang coming down, hope we can fish 1 of the days there down...Specks & Shad beware...

Going to be a tough day at work today as this is my last day before the big fish-a-thon starts.
Jeff. I think I know how you feel. Taking that group of goobers out showing them where and how and having the fish cooperate man you just got to love it. I'm sure they will remember the trip for years to come.
I keep looking at the photos and Tim is right as to "calendar material" super photos
