    Default Eustis area

I don't know a thing about the Eustis area. I have a good friend from Kansas that is in Eustis for a few months. He's a crappie guy. I know there are a lot of lakes in the area, but could someone make a few suggestions on a nearby lake or two that has decent crappie fishing.
He and I have been fishing about 6 years together up here in the Panhandle, but they moved further south this year
    thanks

Lake Eustis is right next to the lake I live on, Lake Griffin. That are all part of the Harris Chain. I can tell you Griffin is dead cold right now with the temp change. Went out yesterday for a couple hours and not even a hit. They tell me florida lakes are affected by temp changes bad, hopefully it picks up here soon.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Up here in the Panhandle river fishing has been pretty much dead for months due to the annual high water/floods. Lake Talquin is producing some decent crappie but apparently not banner cataches.....at least none are being reported on crappie.com
