Default Looking for a crappie tourney fishing buddy!

My name is Steve im 48 and I live south of Tampa close to the coast. We have no freshwater fishing close to speak of. I have a big boat we use in the bay. I woukd like to get back into tourney fishing. Use to bass and snook tourney. Cant really justify buying a nice freshwater boat to use for as little as I have available.

I would like to find someone that needs someone for the back seat. I have my own gear but im sure its not as fancy as you have. But will upgrade as needed. I am a good fisherman. I can back a trailer better than most. Pulled one everyday for 30 yrs. I am self employed so availability isn't a problem. Can pre fish. Stay in hotels. Will always pay my share and more if need be. I give 110% and don't care how bad the weather gets. And you can come on my big boat if you want to do some of that.

Well that's it... If you like to go and just meet and fish one day that would be great to get to know each other.

    Thanks for your consideration!!!

Hope you find someone to chase that passion with. Not a tourney guy but look forward to meeting you at one of our slabtogethers.

Thanks skeetbum… I enjoy the tourneys because it forces you to fish new places and meeting all the new people at weigh ins and such. I actually fished a tourney at lake manatee yrs ago with these guys in my little john boat. Had motor issues and couldn't go far. But it was fun meeting some of the guys and seeing the weigh in.
