    Smile Where's the good places to fish


    Im coming down from Ohio the 1st 2 weeks of March gonna fish for crappie and bass what are some good places to go . We're gonna stay in Buckhead Ridge on Okeechobee but would like to fish some other area's within an hour's drive wouldnt mind sonme smaller lakes where we wont get lost lol we got lost on Okeechobee last yrs my data run out on my phone so no gps lol thanks to a nice fisherman that led us back to where we needed to be . Got another boat and the fishfinder has gps but havent got to use it but once so Im green on how to use it but will learn Thanks in advance

    By March the crappie will probably be biting well, if there's enough water in the lake to get to them. If you aren't familiar with the lake, use caution, it's way down. If you want to see new scenery you can always hit some of the canals in the area, especially for bass.

    Give Lake Marian a look, they have real nice marina and ramp there and a motel.

    Istogpoka and Kissimmee are both good crappie lakes, about an hour away. I've been fishing Kissimmee this week since Okeechobee is not happening for me.
