    Default Unplanned visit to Monroe

Had a Christmas party to attend last night so did not plan to fish today. Woke up at 6:30 and looked ok outside so pulled the battle wagon out the garage and got Sylvia ready and headed out. Really foggy out and fish were a tad unwilling. Pulled for hour and half and had 7 hostages in live Well and about 10 dinks thrown back. Pitched the 7 back in for another day and headed for the house. Nice morning for an unplanned trip. See y'all on the water.Name: 20181216_080507.jpeg

Temperature wise a good morn to get out. Good you were able to get the skunk off the boat early. Good pics, thanks.

You did what I thought over for quite a while this morning. Sounds like a good, cool and relaxing morning. I would bet the boat traffc was low from the fog too. I blew a few holes in the sky instead and then had an early Christmas gathering and dinner to accommodate everyone’s travel plans. A very good day for you two and all of us too.

Fresh air is the best way to shake off any cobwebs from a Xmas party & if no cobwebs, I've heard is just plain good for ya to wet a line anyways....

I ran over to the salt and duck hunted Cockroach Bay for a couple hours with only a few ducks seen and they were wayyy out of range and booking it. Hopped in the boat and tried fishing with no luck either, slow tide and clear water. Saw thousands of sheepshead but couldn't lose a shrimp. Taking my bowfishing setup next time.

Looks like a nice successful day on the water!
