    Default Polk County Lakes

The wife and I plan to spend January - March in Winter Haven. What are the better lakes to fish in that area? We will be staying in our camping trailer. Due to towing the camper I can not bring my boat. Are there any lakes that offer aluminum boats for rent?

Don't know of any rentals, but haven't looked. Lots of smaller lakes to try. Look for polk county fishing reports, lakeland ledger has a good one.

Marine Supply does rentals on the Winter Haven chain of lakes. I haven't fished it much but some report good success.

If you go over to Kissimmee, Camp Mack offers rentals.

Many fish camps on the St Johns river system offer rentals also.

Who in their right mind would choose Kentucky road kill stew over Armadillo road kill stew?
